Ann Arbor, Michigan - Edith M. Harris, 90, died on October 6, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The daughter of Henry Lender and Edna Grimm, she was born in Youngstown, Ohio where she lived majority of her life. She was married to Paul E. Harris, who in 1969 preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Harris of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and nieces and nephews in Ohio, Colorado, and Vermont. Edith retired from Strouss’ department store in 1973 where she held sales and clerical positions prior to becoming the buyer for the Art Needlework department. She served as President of the Friends of the Boardman Library during many of its formative years. She was a member of the Mahoning County Genealogy Society and Order of the Eastern Star, Miriam Chapter. There will be a funeral service at noon on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, 44512. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, it is asked that memorial contributions be made to the Washtenaw County Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled, 4135 Washtenaw Ave., P.O.
