YOUNGSTOWN – There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Youngstown, for Mary Louise (Pangia) Ward, 72, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8. Mary Louise was born May 17, 1936 in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Maria (Deulissa) Pangia. She was a 1954 graduate of East High School and was employed at Pangio’s Food Land in the deli department. Mary Louise was a member of the church. She enjoyed gambling and watching game shows. Her family was the love of her life. Mary Louise will always be remembered by her husband, Thomas Ward, whom she married June 5, 1955; six children, Debbie Smith of Youngstown, Terri Chenlikas of Austintown, Thomas Ward Jr. of Youngstown, Anita Ward of Struthers, Lisa Ward of Youngstown, and Scott (Kelly) Ward of Boardman; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, John Pangio of Boardman and Angelo Pangio of Campbell; and three sisters, Theresa Aaron, Anita Palocyi and Jean Korhely, all of Youngstown. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daniel Pangio. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 12, at the funeral home.
